Geocache Description:

The bridge is being re-built, so this cache is disabled until constriction is complete. A historic bridge on Insley Rd. over the Rocky Ford creek. Ignore the graffiti and watch your step, but don't overlook the scenery!

This can be a quick grab and go, with a short walk, if you find it with out too much searching.  The bridge is closed, and this road gets no traffic, so parking is right on the road.  The bridge is in disrepair, so please watch your step, and avoid the gravel pile in the middle of the bridge, it covers a hole!

The Insley Road Bridge was built around 1930, and is a concrete "Rainbow" bridge, of which very few still exist. It has a total span of 95 feet, and a road width of 28 feet.  The Rocky Ford creek floods high and fast, often up to the road surface, so please be aware of conditions while you're out looking!
