Geocache Description:

Cache is a camouflaged snack-sized lock 'n lock container containing a few small swag items and an FTF surprise!

The Kennedy Siding forest area has a long history of early winter use by a significant proportion of the local mountain caribou population. Up to 100 caribou at a time have been observed in this habitat over the years. When viewing caribou in the area, it is important not to disturb the animals since they are regarded as a sensitive/vulnerable species. The cache is located near the junction of Kennedy Road and Hwy 97N about 10 km north of Mackenzie Junction. Drive about .2 of a km down the road. Additional waypoints are provided. Please pull right over on either side of the bridge along the gravel road. GPS readings can be jumpy, so use the hint and the "spoiler photo" if needed!
