Geocache Description:

This area is in the transition zone from the grass lands to the forest. Cattle wander the area and with luck you may see Antelope or Elk. The Forest Service is thinning the area both for the health of the trees and to try and prevent wild fires from spreading from tree canopy to tree canopy.

The cache is a medium prescription pill container, wrapped in camo tape. It contains a log book and a pencil. For the FTF, there is a Geocoin.  To arrive at the location take Forest Service Road 117, either from Route 260 or Route 60. The Route 60 route is the shortest while the Route 260 route is more scenic and will take you past Greens Peak and a number of mountain meadows. From FSR117, turn onto County Road 1326 and follow your GPS to the parking location. The cache is a very short walk away. Note, there is no outlet if you continue on CR1326 but there is sporadic traffic so parking off CR1326 is recommended. If you aren't familiar with the area, these are not paved roads, can be a little rough,  but 4-wheel drive is not a requirement.  Enjoy the area.
