This cache can be reached by car as there is parking close by (please don't park in the driveway). The lane is quiet at the weekend and through most of the day but can be busy at 'rush times' in the morning and afternoon, so is usually ideal for a pleasant walk. Nearby is Haroldston Mansion, the ruins of an Elizabethan manor house, which was the birth place of Sir John Perrott, Henry VIII's illegitimate son and half brother of Queen Elizabeth.
