Geocache Description:

This Little Bridge is located in a remote part of South Wales. Located on a Footpath inbetween the villages of Ferryside and Llansaint which had been my home for 27 years until I moved to Wiltshire and discovered Geocaching and the Little Bridge Series.

The Bridge is situated in a small forest on the top of an area that some refer to simply as "The Bank". If you venture into the fields beyond you will see great views of the Towy Valley, Pendine, Llansteffan Castle and Ferryside itself. The Bridge is a small wooden footbridge used to connect the footpath accross a small brook.  Be aware, that in Winter and Rain the path leading to the Bridge can get quite muddy and slippery. Ensure you have appropriate footware.

You are looking for a Medium Sized Lunch Box in a Camoflauge Bag. Please replace as found. Also, bring a Pen as there is not one included in the container. Please also note that if you are Parking up esspecially to get this Cache, it is recommended that you park in the Square of Broadlay and don't drive up the path leading to the Cache as there is nowhere appropriate to turn around. The walk to the Cache from the Square is aprox 20 minutes.

The Little Bridges series was started by Stanthews in 2009 to highlight small footbridges in remote parts of Wiltshire. Since then the series has been expanded by others all over the country and starting to spread fast, Damian from Winter Foxes has created and updates a list of cachers who has found 10 or more little bridges and can be found here, if you would like to add to the series, please contact Stan here and he will give you a number for your bridge, to qualify, the bridge must be a foot bridge too small for vehicles, please make sure your title exactly matches “Little Bridges # xx then name” including spaces so it will get picked up and added to Damian’s list.
