Geocache Description:

Pill bottle


Plank Road was made out of, well planks that were 8 feet & around 12 inches wide & 3 inches thick in 1849. The road was 129 miles long & was traveled by horseback riders, stagecoaches & wagons. There was a toll of 1 cent per mile for horses & wagons. With the introduction of the railroad much of the Plank Road was abandoned.
