Dornbirn Watzenegg
Dornbirn is the largest city in the Austrian State of Vorarlberg. With its approx. 50 000 inhabitants, Dornbirn is a friendly, lively smaller city which has never really lost its cozy traditional rustic character.
Dornbirn consists of a grouping of villages at the edge of the Rhine Valley: Oberdorf, Haltlerdorf, Rohrbach, Schoren, Watzenegg, Kehlegg and, in the centre, the Lower and Upper Village Centre – called simply the “Market District”. Dornbirn benefits from its favourable location among diverse cultural and natural settings in the four-country areas of Austria, the Principality of Liechtenstein, Switzerland and Germany.
Watzengg, a small mountain village, is part of Dornbirn, north-east of the city centre. It is located at the Boedele Strasse, in the middle between Dornbirn centre and the famous panorama area of Boedele, the entrance to beautiful Bregenzer Wald.
From Watzenegg, visitors can enjoy an amazing view over the lower Rhine Valley into the Swiss mountains as well as across the Lake of Constance far into Germany.
The Cache
This cache is designed to be a public cache as well as a save hotel for trackables. You can take and place trackables here. Please be a fair player and ensure that trackables taken from this cache will be placed in other boxes soon.
Further, the box is also hosting souvenirs. If you place a souvenir of similar value in the box, feel free to take one of the "presents" which you have found.
Finally, do not forget to sign the log. The owners of the cache will be very pleased to find your personal message and an indication of your home country in the log.
Since the box is not small, it is not too difficult to find. Please hide it well and save again in the same spot before leaving!
Note: The box is hidden in the area of several hiking and mountain biking trails. Thus, there are many muggles passing by, which will increase your excitement when searching. The muggles in the house next to the cache are informed, but the children muggles most likely will not know.
