This is a quick P&G at a beautiful Texas Rest area. This area was opened just a couple years ago and they did a great job in its design. This is the South Bound Rest area.
This Rest Area needed a new Cache. The old cache was placed when the park first opened but went missing soon after. The old cache has been AWOL for quite some time. I have no idea when it will be replaced if ever. So instead of having a lot of geocachers disappointed in not grabbing a smiley here, after going on a wild goose chase looking for the old cache. I placed this easy find at the southern Y in the road where cars meet trucks. There is parking on the side of the road, but be careful for traffic. It is always good to have a second chance at things. Happy Hunting.
