The Dandos camping ground is very easy to access. The camping ground is located 10km from Gellibrand, with the turnoff around 1km from Gellibrand when heading towards Lavers Hill. The road into the camping ground is a gravel road but can easily be accessed by a two wheel drive and caravan.
The camping ground offers over one hundred individual campsites. All the campsites are very similar and there is no individual site that is more appealing than any other.
Given the location of the Dandos campground, it offers numerous activities. Activities available for campers include fishing and swimming in the Gellibrand river. The river is too small here to utilise any watercraft. The campground also has a large grassed area to play ball sports. Please be careful with kids down here as its near the water, you will be looking for a small system container, Happy Hunting
