How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

This is a series of 20 caches including 1 Bonus cache placed along the route of the Fleet 10K run.

For parking waypoints see cache #1.

In certain caches along the route you will need to collect some information from the caches (numbers in the log books or caches). These will allow you to work out the coordinates for the final.

THE CACHE

This cache is a micro film canister or micro Tupperware magnetic box.

THE SERIES

All of the caches are easy finds and they are all film canister size or larger, you'll find none of those annoying test tubes where you need tweezers to get the log out.

They are all fairly similar hides and should not take too long to find.

As the name suggests the route the route is approximately 5 kilometres, it is a round trip and, at a normal walking pace, finding caches along the way, it should take you about 2 to 3 hours.

All caches are on public land and most of them are attached to sign posts or under bushes.
