Geocache Description:

A short walk just outside the Camp Edison entrance station and down the road from the Museum of the Central Sierra. The cache started with a First To Find unactivated trackable, a 30 day trial Premium membership at Geocaching.com and several items for children.

Congratulations to Papahog46 for being the First to Find!

Camp Edison was built in 1963 by Southern Califonia Edison to create a summer vacation spot on the western shore of Shaver Lake.  Camping and day use for picnicking and boating is popular, and it is our favorite place to watch the 4th of July fireworks over the lake, typically held on July 5, or maybe on July 3, but never on July 4!

The cache is located close to the campground, so be discreet while searching and please return to the same hiding spot.
