Geocache Description:

This is a relatively easy hide. Although this is a high traffic location during the summer. The rest of the year there may be a muggle or two within sight, but it will mostly be deserted. I wanted to place a wheelchair accessible cache in the area and also use the host for a cache. I love the fact that the host exists and few if any bother to notice.

Sammy is not a sea lion to take lightly and Sammy takes his business very seriously. Sammy is no "Nucky" Thompson, but he does rule this water attraction with an iron fist. This is clearly sea lion territory now, but it was not always sea lion territory. The Lisle Lions have set up shop right across the street, but Sammy keeps them at bay. I would not ask how a sea lion keeps the Lions at bay, but he is more comfortable in the pool.

Sammy does what is needed to keep the fountain running that is for sure. Sammy is very old school as he prefers cash transactions and won't even consider a burner, let alone a smart phone to do business. And not only has to deal with the Lions across the street, but down the block the police are just waiting for Sammy to make a mistake.

Well, a sea lion has gotta earn...

Enjoy the cache and take a look at some of the bricks in the area of the cache. Some of them are more fun than the usual "The Such and Such Family" which are the standard for brick sponsorships. They may or may not be related to Sammy's enterprise or the creator of this cache.
