A Burger and a Ring (Grandview Cache #3) Traditional Cache

This site is particularly important to me (the corner of the dam) but this geocache should not be too difficult to find in the woods on the left.

This spot is special to me because it is where my dad proposed to my mom and where I plan to propose to my wife one day. So the story goes, on October 27th, 1988 my mom came home from a business trip and my dad picked her up from the airport. He then proceded to drive her down to Grandview for the evening instead of taking her out to a nice dinner because my mom said she was "too tired" and wanted to go home. For some strange reason she requested fast food after getting off of I-65 and they continued to the lake. My dad, not knowing of anywhere more romantic to take her around the area, drove to the corner of the dam, parked the car and they ate a late lunch on the hill. When they were done he asked her to marry him right there and I plan on following in his footsteps (besides the fast food) one day. They were married July 29th, 1989 and are celebrating 25 years of marriage this summer, still on the lake.
