The previous #6 cache (GC15CV5) lived peacefully for several years in the base of a very large tree on the border of two fields, a short distance from this location. But its home appears to have been struck by lightning. Only some jagged shards of timber are left upright. The remainder of the tree is scattered about. So its replacement cache has taken refuge in much smaller accommodation, so it’s a smaller container. But it’s still not far from the borderline tree. Please withdraw it carefully from its hide and replace it just as carefully.
The footpaths here are very popular with dog walkers, so stealth will be required. Nettles will also be a problem in the growing season, so shorts are not recommended
