Geocache Description:

This cache is next to the Middlebury Land Trust's blue-blazed hiking trail, the "Foote Path", in a 145-acre park surrounding Sperry Pond. Fishing, camping, and ATV's are not permitted in the park, but geocaching is.

The cache can be reached from two directions: one from Sperry Pond by way of the Foote Path and one from the far end of Fair Haven Drive. The entrance to the park of Sperry Pond is between a pair of stone pillars, on the west side of Rt. 63. Another way to get to the cache is to go by way of Fair Haven Drive and onto the blue-blazed trail located at the cul-de-sac.
