Monastiri Kathara Traditional Cache

The Monastery is one of the best places on the Island Ithaki. The view from the clock Tower is fantastic. You can see the very strange form of the Island, the Bay of Vathy, the Gulf of Patras, Kephalonia and the Mainland. Don`t forget to visit the Church from 1703, which was destroyed by earthquake 1953, but now renewed.

Follow the street from Vathy to Stavros

After the Cafenion Xani turn right to the street to Anogi

Go up the serpentines until you reach the street to the Monastery

Visit the Monastery

Go to the Clock Tower and enjoy the fantastic view from the platform

Now the cache is very near and easily to find
