Geocache Description:

Despite of hardships and bad economy, it was decided to build a power station/electrical building in Hnjúksá, in the year 1918. It is the third oldest public power supplier in Iceland.

 

Parking is by the old electric building in Bíldudalur. It not wheelchair/disabled accessible but okay for kids.
