Dgwphotos: I'm sorry to have to archive this one, I went out to check up on the cache, only to find the FANHOUSE, of all things, is missing! [:(] (The cache itself was fine.) I spoke to a Parks crew, they tore it down over the winter apparently. Without the fanhouse, there's no reason to maintain this cache here.

Geocache Description:

The cache is a mid sized lock and lock.

This large concrete structure was the fan house for the New Black Diamond Mine, also known as the Indian Mine. A slope ran down into the mine from here, although the main access to the mine was from the Cedar River Valley below.
