This is the one of the series for which you do need to get out of your yak and slog through the grassy wetlands. You can find spots to beach, but you might get your feet wet, so wear water-shoes or sandals that you can wash afterwards. In the spring, watch for nests on the ground. Follow the coordinates and use your geosense—it’s a typical hide.
Put in at the dock at 16550 NE Airport Way.
It's listed as level 5 for terrain, but if you're a kayaker and have your own yak, it's a really easy paddle. We tried to place it in a sticker-free area, but as with all caches along the slough, we recommend bringing scissors in case the blackberries are going wild.
