The Davidson River Swimming Hole is a favorite spot that I visit each year and I hope this geocache allows others to discover this wonderful spot in the Mountains. The campground and swimming hole has become a sort of tradition for my family and I placed this cache with my son and brother-in law. After you find this cache I hope you can enjoy time there as well and maybe jump off the "rock" into the deep water!
If you are walking down the exercise trail from the parking waypoint towards the cache it will be located before you get to the actual swimming hole but almost within eyesight. The cache is just off the exercise trail with the bathroom in view and on the older trail no longer used which existed closer to the river. The container is hidden under some roots in a small cavity is large black bison tube and hidden behind a couple rocks that look to have no business being there.
Good luck and please make sure that no others see you hiding the cache as this is a fairly well traveled area
