This cache is hidden in what is locally known simply as ''The Field''. The grass in ''The Field'' grows so quickly that it nearly needs a cut as soon as the current cut is finished!!
'The Field' was originally set aside for the building of a church way back in the 60's but this plan never came to fruition. Along with the Matchbox, it is now an excellent open space for the local kiddies to play whenever the weather allows. It is also a popular dog walking spot!!
If you are out for the day, head up to Dalkey Hill for super walks, fantastic views and if you have mini cachers with you, an excellent play area. Or stroll down to Dalkey village and enjoy the local cafes and some village shopping.
The cache itself is a small snaplock red lunch box inside a camouflage bag. The exact spot of the cache is well concealed from prying eyes but the general area may be busy with muggles at times. Please hide well when replacing. Happy Hunting
