Tick Fiesta Traditional Cache

Cache placed for the 2014 KNC Geocaching Extravaganza! The KNC offers a beautiful natural setting to explore, over 10 miles on 14 different trails of various terrain, and plenty of chances to encounter wildlife! There is an admission fee to hike the trails. April through October the trails are open 9am to dusk. November-March the trails are open from 9am-6pm. If you can't beat 'em, why not party with 'em!

This pill bottle cache was placed by a geotwin on a day  the prairie was teeming with ticks.  He resorted to collecting the ticks in a pill bottle on our walk because there were so many of them...now that was ALOT of ticks!  And no, you will not find any ticks placed by us in the cache itself.  Hopefully your walk here will be tick-free.  The cache itself should be a quick and straightforward find.

As always, it's up to you whether or not to pursue finding and signing the log on a particular geocache -- please know that you choose to find each of these geocaches, and do so at your own risk.  Please be considerate to the natural surroundings as you enjoy all that KNC has to offer, and try to leave the environment a little better than before you visit!
