Geocache Description:

Cover as found.  The county road here appears to turn into a private road about two miles north.  Best access to this cemetery is via New Mexico Highway 91.

This cemetery, AKA El Calvario Cemetery, is mainly used by the locals west of the Pecos.  Probably the oldest of the two cemeteries in the area, this one was renovated in 1998.

Origin of the Puerto de Luna name is described in the other cemetery cache on the east side of the Pecos.

These caches are placed as a tribute to the pioneers and settlers of Puerto de Luna who are buried here.  Please respect accordingly.
