Geocache Description:

Web-ling #36
Sixth in a series of Fort Worth virtual caches started with the Virtually Cowtown cache by Me, Maat and Heimdahl. Title used with permission.

This cache is on the lawn of the historic Tarrant County Courthouse in Fort Worth. Take some time to visit the various historic markers and monuments in the immediate area. Then, look for the fountain with the statue of a horse on top.

Your password to verify finding this site is the last name of the judge who was born in 1843 and who watered his horse at this fountain.

Once you have the password, email it along with your geocachng name(s) to my profile to verify your find.

Alternate verification method added 11/9/2008
If you prefer, you can verify your find by posting a photo of yourself, taken at the fountain, with the courthouse in the background, but without the judge's name in the picture. No email necessary with photo.

If there is no photo and I do not receive an email, I reserve the right to delete your log! As with most virtual caches, you are expected to PHYSICALLY visit the site to log a find. Internet searches and other 'remote' methods of locating the information do not qualify. Also, no "retroactive" finds based on visits before the cache was created.
