wetland walk Traditional Cache

This cache is on the Washita National Wildlife Refuge at Foss Lake. It was established in 1961 as a stopping point for migrating and wintering waterfowl. In recent years the Refuge has added several walking paths through the refuge. This cache is on one of those paths. It has a nice parking lot and an asphalt handicap accesible walking path and ramps. 

This cache is located down a path you could take to view waterfowl. the path is fairly new and is part of an upgrade to this refuge that allows better public access and viewing. This area doesn't get used enough and its a first class walking trail. If you enjoy this path there are several more located around the refuge. During the fall and winter you might even see a bald eagle and you will definitely see tons of wildlife, geese, deer etc.
