Geocache Description:

I wanted one last hide for the Madison Avenue series but I wanted something a little different. This is a very simple map-based puzzle. If you’d like a short drive through some very nice neighbourhoods, you could drive the route following the instructions, just like the rally drivers of yore ... well, almost but not quite. There are no yumps. But you don’t have to do that. In fact, you could solve the whole puzzle without even leaving home. You just have to use Google Earth and get familiar with the line and path functions (Garmin Basecamp might work as well but I’m just learning that one). On the other hand, an added bonus in driving it is that you’ll pass several caches that you could pick up if you don't have them already.
Your starting point is as given, however, you must strike a bearing of 261.04 degrees for 7.12 km to reach the starting point on the map. At the end of your “journey” you will need to strike another bearing of 193.05 degrees for 682.00 m. That will take you to the final cache location where you will be able to signal V for Victory. Spoiler Alert: This is a cammo'd micro in a tree! There, I just eliminated half your search area. With the information I’ve given, there should be no need to get on your knees and beg the geocaching gods for a sign. However, some of you just might have to do that. Please note that as you get closer to GZ, the walking becomes more difficult with uneven and rocky terrain. Your easiest approach is from the northeast.
