The challenge is to complete the difficulty/terrain grid using caches placed in three states. That is correct, all 243 geocaches from 1/1 to 5/5 must be from three different states.

Here are the rules...
- All the geocaches must be in three different states, 1 grid for each.
- You must find three caches for each of the 81 squares of the grid, 1 in each state.
- So you must complete a blackout grid in three seperate states. See my three examples.
Here is the FAQ
- All cache types are acceptable, the whole grid can be regulars, micros, etc.
- NO CONTROL DATE
- This challenge cannot be used as one of the 81 to complete this challenge.
- The container is at the posted coordinates.
To show that you qualify submit any one of the following:
- Post your qualifying caches with the GC#, state, and date found to your log.
- Send me an email listing your 243 qualifying caches with the GC#, state, and date found.
- Attach a bookmark list with your qualifying caches.
- Here is the GSAK macro I used to make the State Grid Blackout pictures.
The trailhead is located in the lower parking lot next to The View Bar & Grill. While following the trail always make left turns until the second trailhead waypoint. When you find the very old oak tree follow the deer path to the final location. Cache is at eye level.
