This cache will bring you to an interesting and not-often-visited landmark along the Great River Road. It is advised that you park across the road on 1180th St. and use caution crossing the highway.
There are multiple ways to approach this hide, but be aware that however you go about it, you will have to do some relativey difficult hiking up a fairly steep pitch. Although the cache area itself is fairly clear, some minor bushwacking through tall grass is to be expected.
If you are approaching this one in late spring/summer, long pants are strongly suggested as other cachers have warned about the presence of poison ivy. Also use caution around the edges of the rock face - you will not need to look anywhere near any of the edges to find this cache!
Don't be too put off by the critter protecting this cache - you won't see any real ones of these anywhere around here!
Kudos to smommits on the FTF!
