Geocache Description:

First LP to the north of the damaged LP at the listed coords. Thanks to GeoCraig for the replacement.

It's a CHALLENGE! The cache IS at the posted location. You may sign the logbook regardless. If the logbook is missing, feel free to replace it. To claim "Found it!" you must satisfy the challenge.

You are to find, or to have found, caches in an unbroken East-West continuous string of counties that stretch from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific across the USA.

FAQ:

  • How should I show that the challenge has been satisfied? The standard way would be to provide an east-west or west-east ordered listing of counties, caches and dates found. An alternative and perhaps easier way would be to show or reference a counties found map (if you have one) on your public profile page if it clearly shows the requisite string of counties.
  • Does Kent County Delaware count as being on the Atlantic Ocean? Yes, because there is no county between the ocean and the southeastern part of the county. This is not the case for some other Del counties on the Delaware Bay. A similar principle would apply to other bays. The county must reach to the ocean, not just a bay.

Optional: It would be interesting to include a count of the number of counties in your string. Thanks.
