Red Hill, Nanna's Farm Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Balayang: I am regretfully archiving this cache since unfortunately there has been no action to restore it, or any communication from the cache owner, rumpleteasers, requesting additional time.

An ample opportunity has been provided for the Cache Owner to respond, but since this opportunity has been ignored, I can only conclude that the cache has been abandoned.

Caches archived under these circumstances are unable to be Unarchived, and this location is now available for the placement of a new cache, by somebody else.

Geocache Description:

A camoflaged micro cache resting in the shade on the side of the road, if you travel further east on Murphy- Norris road you might see a few of the local giant's missing golf balls.  he's been meaning to come back and get them for ages.  If there is not a crop in the paddock, the view from the top of the hill is amazing, but please respect the farmers property.

The Murphy Brothers pioneered this area as a lucrative wheat and sheep farm in the 1930's and is still used today by the current owners.

This location is next to Gnow's Nest Hill which being 198m above sea level is one of the highest points around and was used as a signal beacon during WWII.
