The original container had gone missing but has now been replaced. This is my fourth attempt with this hide. Apologies to those who made a wasted journey, but I guess cache loss is a hazard in such a widely used, muggle infested area! Ths time, it has been placed in a position which appears to be less popular with the local 'yoof'.
The recreation ground is often busy at weekends as it includes two football pitches. Evenings too can be busy, with youngsters playing or just hanging around. Also popular with dog walkers.
Please be very careful when looking for this cache so as not to draw attention to yourself. And please re-hide carefully.
The original 35mm film case has been replaced with a smaller container. It is magnetic and about 4 cm in length. Tweezers or maybe a key would be useful to retrieve the logbook. The area is well guarded by bramble in the summer. Beware!
When replacing, please rehide well enough to avoid muggle intervention, but also with the next cacher in mind. The magnets are strong, but please try not to drop the cache!
