My Little Black Bird Traditional Cache

This cache is placed in celebration of Maison Ryder Sharp.  Maison is the French word for home.  Our Maiosn is now home.  Maison entered our lives in July 2012 at the age of 9 months.  Maison suffered from Irretractable Diarrhea of Infancy, an illness he was born with.  He had a central line IV that gave his body nutrients and medications he needed to survive.  He had many restrictions while he was on Earth.  Eventhough there was a lot of things that Maison could not do, he was an amazingly inspiring and loving little man. We had many hospital stays where Maison would easily become irritated with hospital staff.  I would rock him, holding him close and sing The Beatles "Blackbird".  I often think of Maison  now when I see a blackbird and think to myself that he is no longer broken.  He brought so much joy to our lives during the 11 months we knew him. Maison gained his Angelwings on June 3, 2013.  He blessed us in many ways and also shared the gift of life with others as he made a donation of his heart valves.
