The Whirokino Trestle Bridge is an 1100m long, reinforced concrete bridge constructed in 1938 to carry traffic over the Manawatu flood plain.
You will be traveling on a 100km highway to this cache and is (best when traveling from the north) so be careful and Indicate left when approaching to given coordinates to parking point.
There is currently a pathway Called Ken Everett (Cycle lane)at this point where cache is nearby
( PLEASE there is no need to be on the highway or on the bridge when looking for this cache )
The cache container is a 1litre sistema container that has a log book and may have items to swap.
Please bring a writing stick with you, although there is a pen provided when placed.
Please log trackables or coins if you retrieve or drop off.
You must sign the log book for each individual cacher. Finds logged not corresponding with the logbook will be (Removed).
Please make sure cache is well covered before you leave.
Make sure traffic is clear both ways before entering back on the highway.
