Along a mountain road, there is a pleasant area for hiking, having a picnic, and learning about the natural area. There are nice trails and boardwalks. There are also picnic areas and viewing spots.
The Ono Wildlife Santuary is only open from 9 to 4:30. There is a building with a library, displays, microscopes, and telescopes for visitors to use. All print material is in Japanese.
