Travel Bugs, on your mark, get set, GO!!! The official starting point for the 2014/2015 Amazing Travel Bug and Geocoin race. The 37 of bugs in this cache are on an 18 month, race around the world. These bugs are trying to get to a predetermined checkpoint on each continent, including Antarctica. Until all the racers have left the starting line, please refrain from adding any swag into the cache. This years race begins when this cache gets published and ends at 11:59 PM on December 31, 2015.
The cache is located within Harrison Hill County Park. You are looking for a 5 gallon bucket, that has been painted in a camouflage pattern. Please take one or more bugs for the race to get them going. Follow the green trail until you are within 50 feet of the cache. Cache is hidden in a typical forest setting. The trail appears to be very muddy much of the time, so I would not suggest wearing your Sunday best to find this one.
Note - If you have a racer in the race, do not discover or move any of the racers in the cache. If you do, you will face a penalty.
