Geocache Description:

This cache is located close to a fallen branch at the side a path skirting the grounds of Calke Abbey.(please re-cover it well) Those of you who have been to the house, or are familiar with its history will understand the relevance of the title, for all you others a visit to the house is a must!

You are looking for a tupperware type container with a clip down lid, it contains lots of the normal items.

I would recommend parking in the Severn Trent car park at the end of the reservoir (N 52*48.008 W 001*26.706), and walking into the rear of the grounds by the concessionary path. It's a pleasant stroll by the side of the reservoir, up past the Deer Park, and about a mile to the cache. When you’ve found the cache, if you head due south to the perimeter of the deer park again, then follow the path going south where possible, you will arrive at the house. Where if you head to the vehicle exit, (past the church and the farm) you will arrive at Calke village which is at the top of the road to the car park. Making a circular walk of 2.25 miles.
