Paradise View Traditional Cache

Everybody has his favorite place, his personal Paradise. I am now inviting you to mine. It is located above the deep blue space which is breathtaking and unforgettable. Easy cache located on the nice way down the hill, will take you few minutes but can lead you to a place, where you can spend hours - relaxing, dreaming, watching the sea, you can meditate or have a drink or the very best yoghurt with fruits and honey in the near tavern, high above the 50 shades of blue...

This cache was created in my mind long before it was realised. In 2002 I saw this place for the first time in my life. Since that I have seen many other beautiful places of the world but this piece of land is still my No.1. My ex-husband (who has helped me with this cache), my mother and brother, who came there other time with me, and later also my daughter, they all have the same meaning.

On your way to Porto Katsiki, to the most famous beach of Lefkada, you can´t miss this place. There is a small terrace built above the open Ionian sea with so many shades of blue color under you like nowhere else. Deep down you can see the Egremni beach (you can reach it after a short driving and very very long stairs, which are nice on your way down to the beach but not that much nice on your way back up. Egremni beach is long, bright clean and due to the stairs almost or sometimes completely empty.

The cache is located near the terrace on the way to the trees. Do not search for it under the terrace or other places like that! The terrain there is very dangerous to step, some stones may also move, so please, do not even try it! Do not forget that you are a human being, not a chamois! If you make one wrong step, you will never take it back again…

Many muggles may stop here during the main season to see the view and eat in the near farm tavern (which is very good by the way) so before finding the cache make sure they are watching the sea view, not you, so the cache container survives at its place as long as possible… Unfortunately I found that somebody is building a new house or hotel down the hill, where was a deep forest in the past, so I hope that the cache is not in danger, too.
