We were gonna have this as a kayak based event, but you know how that goes.

From his first find in August 2002, Matt has found geocaches in far away states and foreign countries, and has yet to find a cache he didn't like (even the ones that take you to those "Special Places"). He wears many hats for geocaching, and through much volunteer work promotes and helps keep caching alive and well in the state...and still has had time to find 20,000 of them. Nuts.
Come and celebrate with us this achievement! New cachers are definitely welcome - come meet and greet your fellow cachers, and swap stories about favorite caching experiences... and as a bonus, this event will get *you* one smiley closer to the 20,000K mark yourself. And if you personally know or have cached with Matt, in your 'Will Attend' log, please give us an interesting (but, family friendly :P) fact or story about him!

Matt likes his icons. He has found caches that some of the newer among us...
- ... will never find: Locationless

- ... have a hard time locating now: Webcams

- ... can no longer find unless you go to Brazil: a Project APE cache

Food and beverages are available and there are a lot of games to play if you want to. Of course, the establishment charges for food and games.
This place does not take reservations so I'll try to get there a little early and anyone else that gets there early can help me hold some tables. I think that some of us will wander around and play some games so the tables will be a gathering point that can be used by those who want to eat or regroup for awhile.
