Fort Gibson is the oldest non-Indian settlement in Oklahoma and is a small town of about 4,500 people east of the city of Muskogee. It is the location of the Fort Gibson historical fort and the Fort Gibson National Cemetery. With history abounding everywhere in the downtown area that is being revitalized, there is also a blossoming business and medical area nearer the freeway at the intersection of Highway 62 and Lee Street.
This cache can be discovered in the newer business and medical area and has been placed with the full and enthusiastic permission of the owner.
