Cardinal Greenway/Old Indian Trail/ Wheeling Pike Crossings. Cache place with permission from Cardinal Greenway and trail is only open dawn to dusk. Please follow their rules!
When the Iceage ended and the Glaciers had melted away, mammals and man had returned to the area and they created a trail. Now the trail is Wheeling Pike a major road between Marion and Muncie. After the settlers arrived they built a Rail Road that crossed Wheeling Pike. Years went by and the railroad closed and it is now the Cardinal Greenway. The cache is placed so you have to walk or bike to its hiding place. Trail parking is located at the posted cordinates NW and SE of cache location. Please don't park on the private property access road nearby on Wheeling Pike. Only tools required are tweezers and an ink pen for the log sheet.
