Lipinlahden tervatehtaasta on säilynyt vain vähän tietoa. Tehdas on ollut toiminnassa 1900 luvun alusta 30 luvun alkuun saakka. Tehtaan omistajaksi on mainittu prokuristi Timonen. Tehdas on tuottanut uunitervaa, jonka raaka-aineena käytetty puutavara on kerätty lähialueen metsistä. Itse tehtaasta on säilynyt tervan valmistukseen käytetyn uunin kivirakenteet. Lisäksi maastossa on nähtävissä kaksi kuoppaa, joihin tervaa ja sen sivutuotteita on ilmeisesti valutettu. Maastossa on erittäin paljon hiiltä mikä on syntynyt tervanpolton jätteenä.
There is very little information available on the Lipinlahti tarfactory. The factory has operated from the beginning on 1900 to the beginning of 30's. The owner of the factory has been a public officer named Timonen. The factory has produced owentar, the wood used in the process has been collected from the nearby forests. The stone owen of the factory is still present at the site. There is also two potholes which supposedly has been used in the process of collecting the tar. In surrounding land area there is a lot of coal which is waste from the tar process.
