Geocache Description:

This a series aimed at children (and adults that play with satellites)

My wife suggested we do a caching loop to celebrate my birthday  in July and I quickly agreed, until she joked “it could be an old fossil walk !!” Once I calmed down and we talked about it the fossils became dinosaurs and then we decided we couldn’t wait until July. Having done a Fathers Day walk last year we thought we would do another one.

This walk can be either a six cache walk (under a mile if you do numbers #1, #2, #3, #4, #12 and #13) or a thirteen (two miles) depending on kids (or adults) walking ability.

This walk can be very muddy in places, thorny in places and the odd nettle or two in places so it is an idea to have long trousers and sensible footwear. We found a walking stick useful between #2 and #4 to beat back nettles and brambles.

These caches will be difficult to replace so please re-hide so muggles are unlikely to find them but Geo-Kids will stand a chance.  Please make sure the container is done up tight enough to be watertight but do not over tighten.

Depending on which part of the walk you do some of it will be on a road so please take care of pets and children on these sections.

Please bring your own pen

We found that after the walk it was nice to pop to this park and picnic area for a play and a well deserved picnic at N 51° 32.615 W 001° 02.480

Well done to Rosela for FTF
