Built for service on the San Pedro, Los Angeles, Salt Lake Railway, this awesome piece of history was purchaced by the Santa Maria Valley Railroad. It was than renumbered as 170 and purchaced by John Loomis in 1963 where it became part of the Bodfish & Tarsprings Railroad for Tar Springs Ranch. In 2004, John Loomis donated the caboose to Oceano Depot Association where it became part of the "Rolling Stock" of the Oceano & Northern Railway.
