1.Beitou Library 
(aka Taipei Public Library, Beitou Branch)
This library is the first Green Building in Taiwan and is considered as one of the most beautiful public libraries in the world. 
The eco-friendly wooden structure gives the image of a tree house.
This library not only provides a stunning collection of books and magazines, but also becomes a spot for indoor serene.

2.Beitou Park
When you get off the MRT at Xinbeitou Station, this is the park you'll first encounter.
Lots of local people doing exercises and also some elders playing Chinese chess can be seen.

3.Beitou Hot Spring Museum
In 1913, this place was originally used as a public bath, built by Japanese.
However, after the retroration from Japan in 1945, it was abandoned until the reconstruction and reopened in 1996.
So, it is now a museum telling everyone the glorious history of the hot spring in Beitou.

4.Ketagalan Culture Center
About 400 years ago, Beitou was the home of the Ketagalan, who are one of the Taiwanese aborigines.
This center delivers the special Ketagalan history, language and culture.

5.Thermal Valley
This place is well-known for being one of the sources of hot spring. 
Because of the steam and smell of sulphur, this valley is also called "The Hell Valley".
