Slope or steps Traditional Cache

Allezvin: This was one of my first caches placed quite near to where I live. It's not in the nicest of areas, and it's time for it to go!

Geocache Description:

Test tube container (camoflaged) with logbook and pencil.

This cache is located on the boundary of what was  the Wakefield Met. Council highways depot and offices. About 20 years the  depot was relocated located and the offices demolished. Remains of the old buildings are still visible. Adjacent to what was the A1 stood a petrol station, this was demolished around the same time.

The site is popular with local dog walkers and blackberry pickers, if you choose to explore this site, take care as there are a few open drains thanks to the metal thieves who have stolen the covers. In the centre of the site the Wash Beck is visible before going under the main road, on occasions kingfishers have been seen at this site.
