Geocache Description:

This geocache is part of the Gold Country Geocaching Event Passport to the Gold Trail. Check goldtrail.com for more details. Explore Gold Country and view breath taking scenery, walk along parts of the Old Cariboo Wagon Trail, and wander into the friendly Gold Rush communities that are brimming with much to see and to discover.

This two stage multi is a tribute to an archived cache of the same name. Once a reservoir serving the upper areas of Cache Creek, stage one is now a hangout for local youth and has a very high risk of being discovered. Therefore I have made stage one very difficult to find by accident. Remember our geocaching contract: Try not to be obvious in your search; Leave the cache as you found it for the next geocacher; Practice CITO; Enjoy the search and have fun! The container at stage two is a regular sized lock and lock.

Drive to the end of Stanley Parke where it turns to gravel. You can park here and continue on foot or take your vehicle. The road is decent and a two wheel drive vehicle with good ground clearance will get you to stage one in this multi. I would recommend a short walk to stage two as turning around can be difficult. It can get hot in this area so be prepared.
