This cache is near a pull off at a scenic view. The foundation, where the name is taken from, was probably made around 1920's - 1940's. The cache is a clear peanut butter jar with a bright yellow lid. Sign in sheet along with pen and trade items are provided.
There is minimal walking from your vehicle. This area can be quite soggy after recent rain storms.
Deer, Eagles and other wild animals are commonly seen in this area. Keep your eyes open.
NOTE: Propery regulations prohibit searching for this cache between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
Security personnel patrol this area 24 hours / day. Therefore, this is a very safe and family friendly area for geocaching.
