If you've cached in northwestern Montana, you've likely run across a clever, fun cache placed by utahsnowboardin (aka Jason). You may even have run into him on the trail, always with a friendly smile to give and enthusiasm about geocaching bursting forth from his presence. A serious presence in our geocaching community in northwest Montana, this guy has really helped get things going around here, placing fantastic, quality caches, masterminding the Gateway To Glacier power trail and creating Montana's first whereigo cache.
Alas, he's been presented with a wonderful opportunity and will be moving away from us, back to Utah where he originally came from and his family is settled. Please come for a farewell party in his honor. We'll be having a chili and cornbread feed, beverages will be provided, and there will be geocaching board games and a few fun other extras. Utahsnowboardin will be able to show up after 6:30, but if you can, please come early to sign a card and take part in a few surprises we have set up for him. Let's show utahsnowboardin how much we've appreciated his presence in our community while we've been lucky enough to have him here!
Utahsnowboardin is looking for people to adopt his geocaches before he moves, so he doesn't have to archive them. If you have any interest in adopting some of his geocaches, please contact him through the geocaching.com website.
