barondriver: yep..it's gone! [:(] I went by there and there are new cement pads poured and a trashcan..progress...oh well..it was fun while it lasted..I think that I'll talk with the park people and see if they might still have the container..you never know...

Geocache Description:

Linwood Park

Wichita's first actual Ultra-Urban cache..it is actually visible from the southbound lane of 135 or from some of the walking paths in the park. Please don't look or act suspicious, try to plan your course before leaving your car, and large groups may draw attention to it's placement. Park only where parking is allowed. If there are people in the area of the cache..please don't try it.

The container is a painted Altoid tin & it is a LOGBOOK ONLY! cache. Please do not leave other items. There are a couple small pencils or you can bring your own pen. It can be found, filled out and returned to it's hiding place while sitting, taking in the cars as they zip by.
