Geocache Description:

Loth Pier Sanday

Welcome  to  Sanday where Sand, Sea and Sky meet. The Island is about 20km (12.5 miles) long by 11km (7 miles) wide, Sanday is the largest of the North Isles. Flat except at its southwest end, the island seldom exceeds 20m above sea level, the highest point being ‘The  Wart’.  Sanday has been called the ‘Jewel of the Isles’ because of the richness of its archaeology, but it deserves the name just as much for the beauty of its beaches, the abundance of birds, seals and other wildlife, the glittering seas, the clear air and the spectacular skies. Loth pier lies at the South West corner of the island for many this will be their first encounter with the Island as they disembark to discover the Islands mysteries.

This cache is a 500mm Clip Lock container with swaps and room for TB’s and Geocoins.

As this is an exposed area. Please make sure the cache is well covered to prevent it from being blown away in the high winds/storms.
